 (Ep. 1) Ground Zero
I guess I'll start the discussion thread this time.
So, Episode One is finally out! Thoughts?

 Re: (Ep. 1) Ground Zero
Just finished watching Episode 1, and first of all- I'm impressed. I know absolutely nothing about this type of medium, but I have to say it's really smooth. I like how the characters moved in normal ways, fidgeting and scratching, so they didn't appear too stiff.
I also have to say that Karen (Zoey) is one intimidating and talented lady. I loved listening to the character. Everyone else did a great job in the voice department- and Jill was really convincing in her role.
So far, I'm really looking forward to seeing more episodes, while simultaneously worried about my own vocal quality. (And it's all your guys' fault! ;3)

 Re: (Ep. 1) Ground Zero
I loved pretty much everything about it. The only thing I disliked was that some of the animations looked... Odd. I realize this is probably a limitation of the program you use itself, but some of the stuff like cellphones were held weird, and when one of the characters pointed, it looked very unnatural. But again, this is probably an issue with the software itself, and it's really nothing to complain about.
Everyone did a great job. I look forward to seeing more.

 Re: (Ep. 1) Ground Zero
The episode was fantastic. I'd give it a proper review/critique and such, but my problem is I can't rewatch it.
I believe you may have made an error in judgement on choosing the site to host the video. Whenever I try to rewind/fast forward the (fully buffered) video and press play, it resumes from the very beginning. Though I can pause and unpause without restarting, there's literally no way for me to watch parts of the episode without having to rewatch the whole thing again and again. My apologies, but with that terrible glitch there's no way I could make a proper post XD
From what I picked up in my viewing however, I will say that you made a good call in voicing Trevor yourself. Also, I was quite impressed by... ahhh... I don't know which one's Sonia and which one's Zoey, but I know which two they are and they both impressed me XD.

 Re: (Ep. 1) Ground Zero
I'm aware of the bug with the flash player. In addition to not letting you skip around, it distorts the image when it goes to full screen. I'm seeking a solution to the problem, but haven't had any luck so far. It's on the to-do list, but its not as high a priority as, for example, getting the download code working on the Episodes page, since the basic Play, Pause, Resume functions work properly. Zoey and Sonia were both voiced by the fantastic Karen Hayman. I'm also very impressed with the subtleties of her Zoey performance.

I just really wish I could watch the damn thing without it freezing every 5 seconds. Even when I pause to let if buffer, it does this. D=

 Re: (Ep. 1) Ground Zero
Even YouTube only recently got their player to reliably allow skipping around in a partially streamed video. I'm looking forward to the download capability, which will make the player problem moot (for me) and allow me to play it full screen, and to skip around as much as I want. I'd also like to add my kudos for Karen's performences. They brought the story to life. The performance behind "Jenny", however, was, well, terrible.
